nucrea craft as a private company, founded 1997 in Tasikmalaya, Indonesia, works on handicraft and uses natural fibres as materials for the products, such as Bamboo, Mendong, Pandanus, and Coco Sticks. The products are house wares, home decorations, accessories and stationaries. Most of the products are functional like boxes, baskets, etc. nucrea have a unique design and materials, and it also environmental friendly.

nucrea 60 % of the total sales are done for Ikea with regular monthly orders. The final quality control and export to Ikea is done by its Indonesian agent SWASTAMA. To secure the standards of Ikea, nucrea has built two new production centres and has learnt a lot on quality control.

With the help of the Indonesian Government, we participated in international trade fairs in abroad such as Italy, Japan and Germany, Poland and The Netherlands.

We are very ambitious to participate in many educational programmes, such as EPD programme from CBI. They are aware of their little knowledge of the international market and they are willing to learn a lot through the programme. With the help of the CBI they would like to find new customers for direct export to Europe in order to become independent of Ikea and to secure the employment of the nearly 300 workers.

The company is well organised and does have enough capacity for more export.
